Job Description – Hardware Lifecycle Management Architect
Location- Gothenburg, Sweden
Role Summary
Hardware Asset Lifecycle Management Architect
We are looking for an experienced Hardware Asset Lifecycle Management (HALM) Architect with 8–10 years of experience to join our team in an Onsite role. This position suits professionals who can architect, govern, and optimize enterprise scale hardware asset and configuration management ecosystems.

  • Financial Asset Management (TCO, Depreciation, Chargeback/Showback)
  • ITIL-aligned Process Integration (Incident, Change, Request, Problem)
  • Discovery & Inventory Tools Integration
  • Hybrid Infrastructure Awareness (On Prem + Cloud Impact)
  • Audit, Compliance & Risk Management
  • Hardware Standardization & Platform Rationalization
Responsibilities:
  • Architect and govern end to end hardware asset lifecycle (Plan → Procure → Deploy → Maintain → Refresh → Retire → Dispose)
  • Design and standardize asset lifecycle and CMDB processes aligned with ITIL best practices
  • Lead ServiceNow ITAM/HAM architecture, lifecycle workflows, asset classes, and integrations
  • Design and govern CMDB data models, CI relationships, and lifecycle states
  • Ensure CMDB health, data accuracy, and compliance readiness
  • Drive hardware refresh strategies, standardization, EOL planning, and cost optimization
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Security, Infrastructure, and Operations teams
  • Engage OEMs/vendors for lifecycle alignment and contractual inputs
  • Act as HALM & CMDB architecture SME for audits, reviews, and transformation initiatives

Good to Have:
  • ServiceNow ITAM / CMDB Certification
  • ITIL or TOGAF Certification
  • Experience in large enterprise / global delivery environments
  • Exposure to sustainability or green IT initiatives
