The SAP FICO & FSCM/Treasury Lead will be accountable for end-to-end L2/L3 support, minor enhancements, and continuous improvement for customer finance landscape within the AMS model. The role requires deep functional expertise in Core Finance (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, COPA), FSCM (Credit Management, Collections & Dispute Management), In-House Cash (IHC), Treasury & Risk Management (TRM including Cash/Liquidity, Debt & Investments, FX/MM, Hedge Accounting), and strong integration understanding across SD/MM/TSW/IS-Oil, banking interfaces, and reporting. The lead will guide a team of consultants, ensure SLA compliance, drive problem management, and partner closely with business stakeholders and auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
1) AMS Operations (L2/L3)
- Own incident, service request, and problem tickets across FICO, FSCM, Treasury modules; ensure timely resolution within SLAs.
- Perform impact analysis, root-cause analysis (RCA), and preventive actions for recurring issues.
- Manage month-end/quarter-end/year-end finance close support and stabilization.
- Coordinate on-call rota and provide after-hours support per business criticality.
2) Functional Design & Enhancements
- Lead requirement grooming for change requests, draft functional specifications, and collaborate with ABAP for development.
- Configure and support: New GL, Document Splitting, Tax (Withholding/Input/Output), Asset Accounting (S/4 HANA AU/ANLC), Controlling (Cost Center, Internal Orders, Profit Center, Profitability Analysis/COPA), FSCM components (Credit, Collections, Dispute), IHC, and TRM.
- Design and support Cash Position/Liquidity Forecast, Bank Account Management (BAM), Bank Communication Management (BCM), Payment Medium Workbench (PMW), SWIFT/Host-to-Host integrations.
- Support hedge accounting processes in TRM, IFRS-compliant valuations, and exposure management.
3) Integration & Interfaces
- Ensure robust integration across SD billing, MM/Procure-to-Pay, IS-Oil/TSW (nomination, ticketing) financial postings, and SAP Banking communications.
- Oversee interfaces with Treasury systems, market data providers, bank statement automation (MT940/ISO 20022 camt*), and payment approvals (BCM/Signatories).
- Collaborate with Analytics team for reports in FIORI/Embedded Analytics/BW/Group Reporting.
4) Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Maintain process and configuration documentation in line with customer controls.
- Support internal/external audits, SoD, ITGC/SoX controls, and remediation.
- Ensure master data governance (Chart of Accounts, Cost Elements, Profit Centers, Bank master, House Banks) and data integrity.
5) Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and mentor a functional team; manage workload, quality, and knowledge base.
- Run CAB (Change Advisory Board) walkthroughs, UAT planning/execution, and cutover plans for releases.
- Partner with Finance Controllers, Treasury, Shared Services, and Trading stakeholders for continuous improvement roadmap.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years hands-on SAP FICO (GL, AP, AR, AA, CO, COPA) with strong configuration skills.
- 4+ years in FSCM/Treasury (Credit, Collections, Dispute, IHC, TRM Cash & Liquidity, Debt & Investments, FX/MM, Hedge Accounting).
- Proven AMS (L2/L3) experience with SLA-driven environments and problem management.
- Strong knowledge of banking interfaces (BCM, PMW, BAM), payment formats (MT103, ISO 20022 pain*), and bank statements (MT940, camt.053).
- Experience with month-end close, foreign currency revaluation/translation, asset depreciation, and profitability reporting.
