In the assigned Job Role of Engineering Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

⦁ Elicit and document business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable specifications for the team
⦁ Participate in design meetings, create initial design concepts, and support the development of design sketches and models using established engineering tools and techniques
⦁ Participate in iterative engineering design cycles, refine prototypes, and coordinate with teams to implement feedback effectively
⦁ Develop and refine solution specifications and perform validation activities, including simulations, to ensure that engineering solutions meet design specifications and criteria
⦁ Build and refine prototypes, incorporating testing results and feedback received from cross-functional team, to enhance functionality
⦁ Undertake technical integration efforts, ensure system functionality, identify and resolve interoperability issues
⦁ Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and assist in organizing knowledge-sharing sessions among team members

Aptitudes et expérience requises

At least bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
Domain knowledge : Aerospace
Process : Aircraft Structural Design Engineering
MRO : Maintenance Repair and Operations
MRB: Material review board

Aptitudes et expérience souhaitées

Experience in Aerospace Lean & process Engineer
Experience in Manufacturing problem solving and automation.

Exigences supplémentaires requises

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Position Responsibilities - Improve manufacturing resilience through robust process controls, better tooling/fixtures, reduced distortion, and defect prevention.
Optimize palletized machining cells by reducing idle time, improving pallet/tool readiness, and enhancing scheduling efficiency.
Conduct Time & Motion studies, VSM, capacity analysis, and line balancing to improve throughput.
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using Five Why Analysis (5 Why), Ishikawa Diagram (Cause and Effect Diagram), and Eight Disciplines Problem Solving (8D), and drive Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for machining and sheet metal operations.
Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities, analyze non‑conformances, and reduce scrap and rework.
Develop and update Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Control Plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and process documentation.
Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to implement improvements.
