Infosys Brazil is looking for professionals with the profile of Oracle Funcional Consultant WMS Cloud to join our team
Main activities and responsibilities:
- Provide day‑to‑day functional support for Oracle Cloud WMS in a critical AMS operation, ensuring warehouse continuity and operational efficiency.
- Analyze and resolve incidents related to warehouse execution, including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory movement issues.
- Monitor and support WMS execution flows such as ASN processing, task generation, wave release, pick confirmation, and shipment confirmation, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
- Support business users in operational activities such as inventory adjustments, transaction corrections, task reprocessing, and warehouse data validations.
- Troubleshoot issues related to FBDI imports, ESS job failures, interface errors, mobile/RF execution issues, and data inconsistencies impacting WMS operations.
- Validate and maintain WMS configurations, ensuring alignment with warehouse processes, operational rules, and business requirements.
- Execute functional testing, including regression tests for Oracle quarterly updates and changes that may impact WMS and inventory processes.
- Perform functional impact analysis for configuration changes, small enhancements, or integration updates affecting warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with technical teams to diagnose integration impacts involving OIC, ODI, REST/SOAP services, mobile/RF setups, or third‑party logistics systems (3PL).
- Maintain clear functional documentation, including incident records, root cause analysis, warehouse process guides, test evidence, and configuration tracking.
- Provide knowledge transfer and functional guidance to junior team members and operational users when required.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience working with Oracle Cloud SCM, specifically Oracle Warehouse Management (WMS).
- Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics operations: inbound, outbound, putaway, picking strategies, packing, shipping, cross‑dock, and inventory movements.
- Hands‑on experience with WMS functional configuration, including warehouses, zones, locators, subinventories, tasks, task types, picking rules, material status, and warehouse parameters.
- Experience configuring and supporting receiving and shipping flows, ASN processing, wave planning, pick release, packing stations, and shipment confirmation.
- Good understanding of inventory control concepts and WMS integrations with Inventory Management, BOM, Manufacturing, Order Management, and Procurement.
- Experience analyzing and resolving WMS execution issues, such as task failures, inventory discrepancies, picking exceptions, stuck waves, and interface errors.
- Familiarity with FBDI, ESS jobs, OTBI/BI Publisher reports, and common integration touchpoints impacting WMS transactions.
- Experience working in AMS environments, supporting incidents, service requests, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvements.
- Ability to perform functional testing, regression cycles, and impact analysis during Oracle quarterly updates.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with technical teams (OIC/ODI, REST/SOAP integrations, RF/mobile configurations) during troubleshooting of WMS integration or execution failures.
- Strong documentation abilities for functional procedures, SOPs, test scenarios, warehouse process flows, and configuration logs.
