Infosys Public Services is seeking a Full Stack Java Developer to join our team.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):
Required Experience

• Minimum of 4 years in Java development and 3 years of full stack experience.
• Experience in JAVA application development, web application, batch applications and support is required.
• Experience with oracle DB query development (including Hibernate in Spring Framework).
• Experience with test automation in unit tests, functional tests, regression tests and performance tests
• Experience with implementing in Playwright and CICD with Jenkins
• Experience with Version One and Agile development.

• Must expertise in building RESTful API Applications with promises of high throughput, strong resilience, and secure controls
• Must be expert in web page development, including Struts, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSP, HTML, JQUERY, CSS, etc.
• Must expertise in Java, including J2EE, Spring framework, and Struts to maintain and expand current applications.
• Must experience in writing functional tests with automation testing framework, like Playwright
• Must be experienced with Kubernetes, micro-services, event-driven application with Kafka.
• Knowledge of best practices in Version Controls.
• Understanding of new technologies in order to assist with migration.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, especially for collaborating on mainframe integration with Java developers and migration planning.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail.

• A bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred.
