Infosys is seeking an Informatica Governance Suite Platform Admin – Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for end‑to‑end administration, configuration, and optimization of Informatica’s governance and metadata platforms, including Axon Data Governance, Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Metadata Manager, and MDM components. In this role, one will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. This role ensures platform stability, operational efficiency, security governance, and alignment with enterprise data management strategies. The SME will work closely with Data Governance, Data Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams to design scalable solutions, support business users, drive metadata adoption, and maintain high availability of platforms. Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Expertise in Install, configure, and maintain Informatica platform services including- Axon Data Governance, Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Informatica Metadata Manager and Data Integration Hub

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with business stakeholders and development teams.
  • Experience of managing environmental upgrades, patches, hotfixes, and platform migrations.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with Scanner configurations, Lineage setup, Resource management, Data profiling & scorecards. Monitor system performance, capacity, and platform health.
  • Experience of designing and maintaining multi‑environment architectures (Dev/QA/Prod). Experience of Integrating Informatica governance tools with-ETL/ELT tools, Cloud platforms, BI platforms and Data catalogs & lineage systems
  • Experience of enabling metadata ingestion, lineage configuration, and automated scanners for-Databases, Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP BOBJ), data lakes & warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Synapse)
  • Experience of Integrating tools with LDAP/AD/Entra ID and SSO/SAML configurations. Experience in Informatica platform administration. Has Informatica certifications (IDQ, EDC, MDM, Axon).

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
