Infosys is looking for a Network Automation Engineer with strong experience in enterprise networking and a passion for automation. The ideal candidate will help design, manage, and automate network infrastructure using Cisco and Aruba technologies, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Omaha, NE or Chicago, IL be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- At least 3 years of experience of Monitor network health and performance using tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, and Nexus Dashboard Insight
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and templates using Ansible to improve network efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Manage Aruba SD-WAN, ClearPass, and wireless systems (Aruba & Cisco) to ensure seamless connectivity and secure access control.
- Administer Cisco ACI fabric in the data center environment, including integration with Palo Alto firewalls.
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routing and switching across Cisco and Aruba platforms.
- Utilize Infoblox for DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and templates using Ansible to improve network efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive solutions.
- Collaborate with security, cloud, and systems teams to support cross-functional infrastructure projects.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, processes, and procedures.
Prefered Qualifications: - Cisco and Aruba networking technologies, Aruba SD-WAN, wireless infrastructure, Cisco ACI, and Palo Alto firewalls, alongside strong proficiency in network monitoring, automation, and IP management tools
- Cisco and Aruba routing/switching, including VLANs, STP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and VRFs.
- Aruba SD-WAN, Aruba ClearPass, and enterprise wireless technologies.
- Cisco ACI, including contracts, EPGs, tenants, and service graphing.
- Palo Alto Next-Gen Firewalls, including policy creation and troubleshooting.
- SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center, and Nexus Dashboard for performance monitoring and analytics.
- Infoblox for IP address management and DNS/DHCP configuration.
- Solid automation skills using Ansible for configuration management and task automation.
- Extraordinary Planning, Project Management, Coordination, and Analytical skills
- Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
