Infosys is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to provide on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance across field locations. The role involves diagnosing and resolving network issues, installing and configuring network hardware, performing routine system audits, and ensuring stable network connectivity at remote sites. This is a field-intensive role requiring frequent travel to customer offices, data centers, branches, and operational sites.

Required Skills:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance or willing to relocate to Richardson, TX. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three year of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in network support, Trouble shooting and field services
• Hands on experience with resolving network outages, performance degradation, and connectivity issues.
• Strong experience on routers, switches, firewalls, access points, modems, and edge network equipment.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN issues, including routing failures, VLAN misconfigurations, Wi-Fi interference, and cabling faults.
• Conduct packet-level analysis using tools such as Wireshark, TCPdump, or SolarWinds (as applicable).
• Support VoIP and video conferencing network connectivity issues.
• SD-WAN management, configuration, and troubleshooting WAN networks.
• Installation of network devices including modems, routers, wireless access points(WAP), load balancer.
• Tools:
1.Network analyzers: Wireshark, SolarWinds.
2.Hardware: cable testers, crimping tools, OTDR/fiber testers.
3.Ticketing systems: ServiceNow.

Preferred skills:
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer handling abilities.
• Ability to work independently in remote environments.
• Time-management and prioritization ability under high-pressure conditions.
• Certifications preferred but not mandatory: CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, CompTIA Network+, Aruba ACMA/ACMP.
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 50% based on requirement).

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
