Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Consultant. As a Lead Java Consultant, you will be primarily responsible for developing Boomi processes in the scrum team. You will be responsible for deliverables in the scrum team and will be also contributing in building the reusable components on Boomi technologies. You will be work closely with the technical lead in reviews and technical issue resolution and along with the scrum master to ensure timely deliverables of assigned work, interfaces, processes etc.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of relevant Information Technology experience

- Location of this position is Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GA. This position may require travel to project/client location.
Preferred Qualifications:- At least 4 years of experience in JAVA with development experience in Springboot.
- Experience in designing, developing, and deploying RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
- Experience in building event‑driven services using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
- Experience in developing reusable components, libraries, and frameworks supporting Open Banking architecture.
- Experience in integrating authentication/authorization flows using OAuth2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, and FAPI security profiles.
- Experience in building consent management flows and customer data‑sharing services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory mandates for data privacy, security, and auditability
- Experience in deploying microservices on AWS using containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in writing clean, scalable, testable code following best practices and design patterns.
- Experience in conducting code reviews, performance optimization, and improve API response times.
- Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
- Good Knowledge of REST SOAP XML JSON, Flat Files (CSV, Fixed-Width).
- Solid hands-on proficiency in:
- Java 8+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security
- Microservices architecture
- REST API development
- Strong understanding of:
- OAuth2.0, OIDC, mTLS, JWT, FAPI
- API Gateways and Developer Portals
- Open Banking or PSD2 regulations
- Experience in relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Experience in event-driven systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
