Senior Consultant - Health Management Consulting
Infosys Consulting is seeking talented and highly motivated Management Consulting professionals with Healthcare Business Consulting experience implementation of Health Management and Clinical Consulting solutions to join its growing Healthcare practice at the Senior Consultant level.
As a Senior Consultant, you will manage consulting teams in the delivery of strategic programs with a deep understanding of population health and care management workflows, industry trends and regulations, and care management vendors landscape, all for our clients’ benefits of optimizing medical costs and driving down the cost of care. Infosys Consulting focuses on technology-enabled business transformation, optimization and growth programs.
Responsibilities:
Health Management Consulting and Strategy:
Collaborate with clinical and care management clients to identify opportunities for improvement in areas such as Utilization Management (UM), prior authorization, Case Management (CM), Disease Management (DM), Care Management, and Appeals and Grievances.
Analyze complex clinical and care management scenarios, identify potential risks, and develop strategies to optimize patient outcomes.
Support the design and implementation of effective care management programs, aligning with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure our solutions remain relevant and effective.
HEDIS, Quality, Stars and Risk Adjustment:
Collaborate with risk and quality management clients to identify opportunities for improvement in areas such as HEDIS measures, Quality management and Stars ratings improvements.
Bring an understanding of analytics solutions used to identify improvement opportunities, creation of business cases, target KPIs and measures benefits achieved, both qualitative and quantitative.
Lead and contribute to the implementation of business and technology solutions that manage and improve HEDIS measures, Quality management, Stars, and risk adjustment.
Support testing efforts to ensure a smooth and successful implementation.
Participate in user training and change management activities to facilitate adoption of the new system / solutions.
Leadership and Communication:
Lead, mentor, and coach project teams to drive successful implementations.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams including program/project managers, business analysts, architects, developers, and stakeholders.
Communicate complex business and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Manage client expectations and resolve issues efficiently.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent preferably in Business Administration, Healthcare administration/management, or related field. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
5+ years of professional experience in healthcare industry working for a healthcare consulting services organization and/or combined with healthcare industry experience. Will also consider less professional experience with a Masters degree in a healthcare-related field or MBA.
Specialized knowledge and work experience in population health, clinical consulting, and/or healthcare management, UM, PA, CM, DM, and Care Management solution implementations. OR
Specialized knowledge and work experience in HEDIS, Quality, Stars, Risk Adjustment consulting and solutions implementation.
Experience with business and technical solutions implementations.
Ability to travel 4 days a week to multiple local, state and national client locations.

Must be a Resident of an Infosys Consulting Hub Locations (e.g. New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, San Francisco) or must reside in city that is within a 2-hour driving distance from one of these hub locations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience translating business objectives to system requirements
Experience leading strategic and tactical discussions with client VP and Director levels
Industry experiences working directly at a managed care, fee for service, and/or government health plan organizations is a plus
Master’s degree in healthcare-related field or MBA is preferred
Certifications in Lean/Six Sigma, PMP, and/or Agile preferred
Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in CA, NJ and NY will be $130000 to $177000
