Purpose of the Role

  • Participate as a senior Software Developer in Test (SDET) in an Agile/DevOps operating model.
  • Engage in requirement grooming, sprint ceremonies, estimations, and CO-create the quality engineering strategy/plan for epics and user stories.
  • Own the software framework, conduct peer reviews, set up test environments and test data, design high‑value test cases and scripts, and steward knowledge management.
  • Prepare solution delivery, develop project quality plans, and validate defect prevention—with the objective of effective, efficient end‑to‑end quality engineering within organizational guidelines and norms.

  • Lead quality engineering for a European mobile banking application operating in highly restrictive environments.
  • Build and scale automation across mobile (Appium), web (Selenium), and APIs, with Java on Linux, using jUnit for test orchestration and jMeter for performance.
  • Ensure secure data handling, auditability, and traceability; optimize CI/CD pipelines with access controls, code integrity checks, and strong change governance.
  • Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate test design, triage, and coverage—subject to human review.

  • Languages & OS: Java; Linux
  • Scripting: Bash (Unix shell/command scripting language) for automation/orchestration.
  • Automation: Selenium WebDriver (web), Appium (mobile).
  • Test Frameworks: jUnit (or TestNG), POM, data‑driven tests, parallel execution.
  • Performance: jMeter (load, stress, endurance).
  • DevOps/CI/CD: Git, pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps), artifact/report publishing.
  • AI Tools: AI‑assisted test generation/refactoring/triage with human validation and security guardrails.
  • Reporting/Traceability: JUnit XML, Allure/Extent (optional), RTM, audit logs.
