Infosys is seeking a Network Administrator with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient network infrastructures. Proven expertise in managing LAN/WAN environments, configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, and ensuring high availability and performance of network systems. Skilled in troubleshooting complex network issues, optimizing network performance, and enforcing security protocols to safeguard organizational data. Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing vendor relationships, and supporting enterprise-level IT initiatives
Required Qualification:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Memphis, TN or Richardson, TX or Hartford, CT or Indianapolis, IN or Raleigh, NC or Tempe, AZ or be willing to relocate to the area.This position may require travel in the US
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in Network Administration.
- Plan, design, and deploy LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Configure and maintain network hardware and software to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective measures.
- Perform regular firmware updates, patch management, and scheduled upgrades.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and changes.
- Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
- Conduct security audits, enforce compliance with organizational policies, and mitigate cyber threats.
- Manage user access controls and permissions to safeguard sensitive data.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Perform regular backups and restore procedures to protect critical data
- Utilize scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools to streamline network operations.
- Optimize network performance through proactive monitoring and capacity planning
- Work closely with network engineers, security teams, and application teams to align network policies with business needs.
- Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
