Job Description

  1. Roles and Responsibilities:
    1. Resolve issues reported by end client super users
    2. Create high-level and detailed-level design artifacts
    3. Create Data model design and entity mapping for Report
    4. Deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty
    5. Should be completely hands-on
    6. Should be able to mentor and guide developers to build required functionality.
  1. Skills /Competencies:
  1. Essential:
    • At least 5 + years hands-on experience in operational, strategic and analytical reporting with a focus on Data visualization design and development on Power BI as core tool
    • Sound knowledge on Power BI Desktop - Data model preparation, creating visuals/reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards.
    • Working knowledge on Microsoft Power BI Service. Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements
    • Well understanding on Power Bi visuals usage in terms of data analysis.
    • Proficient on writing queries and converting business requirements into visualization.
    • Proficient in DAX, SQL and Power Query (M Code).
    • Well understanding on Power Bi security model (Row level security and implementation of it).
    • Able to integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS), or by API automation.
    • Good understanding on Power Bi Data Refresh Architecture.
    • Knowledge of MSBI stack - SSAS Tabular Model and SSIS would be added advantage.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Expertise in working closely with business and IT stakeholders to define problems and design data visualization solutions.
    • Should have knowledge and experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis
  1. Preferred:
  • Contribute to and maintain system standards as well as maintain consistent installation and configuration procedures
  • Install, configure and monitor all aspects of Microsoft Dynamics CRM in production and non-production environments
  • Experience in Dynamics CRM Implementation including Development, support, system testing and end user training
  • Experience in Power BI Implementation including Development, support, system testing and end user training.
  • Experience in web application development a plus - .NET & Azure stack
  • Experience in Gateway setup and configuration to refresh dataset and report
  • Planning and Prioritization skills
  • Experience in developing Paginated Report (SSRS).
  • Experience in integration with D365 CRM and embedding Power Bi Report
  • Passionate to troubleshoot and resolve technical and non-technical issues
  • Must be able to work as part of a team as well as individually
  • Large Systems Integrator (SI) experience a plus
