Job DescriptionHardware Lifecycle Services (HLS) Specialist
Location- Gothenburg, Sweden

Role Summary
The Hardware Lifecycle Services (HLS) Specialist is responsible for managing and governing the end to end lifecycle of enterprise hardware assets, from provisioning and logistics through repair, renewal, and secure decommissioning. This role requires deep operational expertise, strong stakeholder coordination skills, and leadership capability to ensure service quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across global locations.

Key Responsibilities
• Own and manage the end to end hardware lifecycle for Company approved devices including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, printers, wearables, and collaboration equipment.
• Lead hardware provisioning, delivery, repair (warranty and non warranty), replacement, renewal, and secure disposal activities in line with defined lifecycle processes.
• Manage stockroom operations, inventory accuracy, asset tracking, and CMDB updates, ensuring audit ready data at all times.
• Coordinate logistics, transportation, OEMs, repair vendors, recycling partners, and print service providers to ensure timely and compliant service delivery.
• Ensure secure data handling, data destruction, and certified recycling, complying with Company security, GDPR, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee service performance against KPIs, PIs, and metrics, and contribute to operational and governance review meetings.
• Drive continual service improvement (CSI) initiatives by analyzing lifecycle data, trends, and operational inefficiencies.
• Support service transition activities including KT, Shadow, Reverse Shadow, and steady state operations.
• Collaborate closely with Office Onsite Services, Global Service Desk, Asset Management, and other internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills and Technical Competencies
• Strong hands on experience in hardware lifecycle management within large enterprise or managed services environments.
• In depth knowledge of IT asset management, CMDB, inventory audits, stockroom management, and lifecycle reporting.
• Proficiency with ITSM and Asset Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Asset/CMDB modules, OEM portals).
• Experience managing hardware logistics, renewals, bulk rollouts, urgent replacements, and exception handling.
• Solid understanding of security, compliance, data protection, and certified disposal processes.
• Ability to interpret and manage SLAs, KPIs, and service metrics related to hardware services.
• Familiarity with vendor management, contract adherence, and multi supplier coordination.

• Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross functional teams and third party vendors.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with senior client representatives.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Strong documentation discipline and governance orientation.
• Calm and decisive during high impact incidents, supply constraints, or operational escalations.

Experience and Education
• 8+ years of experience in hardware lifecycle services, IT asset management, or workplace technology operations.
• Prior experience in a global enterprise or managed services environment is strongly preferred..
