Job description

Infosys is seeking a Technical Lead in Jave and with good experience in Oracle iStore. The position will primarily be responsible for providing new solutions and maintenance of the Oracle iStore application based on the customer’s requirements. The selected candidate be able gather customer requirement, design the solutions, test, and deploy. The candidate should be able to analyze the issues that customer reports and provide a resolution within acceptable time frame. Interact with customer process consultants and business SME to understand and analyze various processes. The selected candidate should be able to proactively monitor the customer application and provide effective solutions to avoid any future application downtime.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Toronto, ON or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent will consider work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 8 years of Information Technology experience
  • Active Canada Work permit or Permanent Residency required; we are not able to sponsor at this time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience with application development and support
  • Experience with Java script, shell Script is must.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle EBS Suite
  • Experience of implementation using Java-J2EE and UI changes
  • Experience in managing end to end oracle implementations.
  • Good knowledge of PL/SQL.
The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
