Job description

Infosys is seeking a Tableau Lead developer with an Admin experience. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience

  • At least 3 years of Tableau development experience.

  • Able to Develop and design Tableau Dashboards.

  • Strong in SQL knowledge and able to tune the SQL and access the performance.

  • Have background in BI

Job Responsibilities:

  • Setup, upgrade, debug and support various Tableau Windows environments

  • Collaborate with users to debug issues and provide resolution.

  • Working collaboratively with IT team to set up, manage and maintain Tableau infrastructure – commissioning, building, maintaining, backing up Tableau servers.

  • Staying up to date with latest upgrades and developments in Tableau

  • Managing user permissions and customizing Tableau Dashboards as and when required

  • Develop an understanding of the current end-to-end BI platform architecture to support the deployed solution.

  • Work closely with internal Data Analytics team to provide technical review and development estimates based on desired metrics defined by business teams and clients.

  • Standardizing design and processes to create/update dashboards.

  • Manage and monitor the ongoing data-loads/extracts for dashboards in production.

  • Thought leadership on trial and acceptance of latest Tableau functionalities.

The job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
