Job description

Role - Technology Lead
Technology - Network Operations
Location - Stuttgart, Germany


Technical skills (Required - Mandatory)

  • Wireless Networking (CISCO,ARUBA,MERAKI), Network Routing/Switching, Cisco Prime, Cisco ISE, AAA
  • DNS/DHCP/IPAM, Proxy.
  • Subject matter expert in handling, DC Network – ACI, Fabric path, EVPN VXLAN, VMware NSX-T Nexus architecture.
  • SME in handling routing and switching technologies and extensive knowledge in handling heterogenous network environment.
Technical skills (Required - Nice to have)
  • Firewall , LB
Language skills needed
  • English , German language B1 proficency
People skills
  • Should be able to work with colleagues from different cultures and drive L1/L2 colleagues
  • Ability to lead and drive P1, MI, trouble shooting calls.
Soft skills
  • Deep experience in Customer Handling and stakeholder management.
  • Understanding of service level management process, related agreements – SLA/OLA and workflow steps.
  • Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skill.
  • Should have knowledge on ITIL processes – Incident, Change , problem management.
  • Should be able to drive problem management end to end.
Area of responsibilities
  • Strong conceptual and troubleshooting skills in networking protocols- BGP, OSPF, TCP/ IP and security protocols- SSL, IPsec, VPN technologies
  • Good skills in the integration of various systems in DC Network.
  • Expert knowledge in Ethernet fabric technologies: Fabric Path, EVPN VXLAN, VMware NSX-T and OpenStack OVS.
  • Manage escalations, be a trusted advisor for the customer and work closely with customers in defining solutions
  • Advanced knowledge in network services like IPAM, DNS, SMTP, NTP, Load Balancing and others.
  • Responsible to introduce new service delivery tools and redesigning the operational procedures
  • Assurance of SLAs / KPIs / OLAs and service quality.
  • Running the service operations in close cooperation with other IT process owners and service owners.
