Job Description

Senior Consultant - Ariba

Infosys Consulting is seeking Ariba Transformation consultants looking for long-term growth and career enhancing opportunities leveraging SAP to solve our customer’s most challenging issues. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of SAP project experience from project prepare phase through deploy and run phases. The candidate should have strong business and SAP background and be experienced in interfacing with client executives, indirect & direct procurement; S/4HANA, Ariba, Coupa and P2P supply chain collaboration, business and IT client members in consultative project engagements.
We are seeking consultants experienced in one or more of the following process areas:
  • Indirect & direct procurement using SAP S/4HANA, Ariba.
  • Inventory Management and warehouse Management
  • Intercompany procurement
  • Catalog procurement (Coupa, Ariba, GEP)
  • Global Logistics & 3rd Party logistics
  • Service Procurement (SAP S/4 HANA, Field glass)
  • Invoice Management using SAP, OpenText, Tungsten etc.

About the Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will lead and manage delivery of engagements aimed at designing and executing business strategies for our clients, being responsible for quality and working closely with senior client stakeholders. You will contribute to the firm’s development by guiding and mentoring teams and sharing knowledge. You will be recognized as an expert in your respective domain and contribute to advancing Infosys Consulting’s thought leadership in the industry.

Consulting Delivery
  • Lead the design and delivery of client advisory, solution delivery and organizational transformation engagements in standalone projects or as part of wider client programs.
  • Advise clients on strategy and detailed use cases by leveraging insights from industry best practices.
  • Lead and manage a team of consultants to develop concise and practical strategies, roadmap and/or re-engineering program recommendations with a clear implementation path.
  • Direct teams of global consulting, IT professionals & subject matter experts in establishing comprehensive business and functional requirements, then translating those requirements into actionable project initiatives with associated metrics.
  • Play a key liaison and coordinator between the business, product, technology, senior management, vendor teams and other members of the change programs.
Project Execution
  • Participate with colleagues and with client counterparts to define long-term vision, goals and strategies
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation; develop recommendations and initiate action. Deliver high quality outputs on time, Maintain a high utilization.
  • Support and encourage teammates, share in work and tasks, helps others to meet team objectives.
  • Support management of project execution from start-to-finish in order to deliver according to plan (scope, quality and time) 

Required Qualifications:
  • At least one (1) S/4 HANA customer engagement
  • Experience leading client workshops for requirements gathering and Blueprinting.
  • Experience writing functional specs for enhancements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A contributor in project management of large ERP implementation projects and team
  • Strong personal and professional values; entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 100%, depending on client requirements.
  • Ability and willingness to work as part of a cross-cultural team including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary.
  • Industry experience in Manufacturing would be preferred.
  • MBA or equivalent advance degree.
