Job Description

Infosys is seeking a AWS/DevOps Engineer. This position will contribute to a gamut of Software Development life cycle stages; Build & Support CI/CD tools to port & manage applications on AWS & Kubernetes, Build tools to monitor & alert the high performance and low latency applications. Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience
• Good programming skills in Java/Unix/Python or Go
• Understanding of Build/Release and deployment process
• Foundation in linux system, application monitoring
• Working experience with Spinnaker or Tekton is a must

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 4 years of experience in Engineering/DevOps Skills.
• At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle
• At least 2 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• At least 2 years of experience in Design and architecture review.
• Working knowledge of any cloud environment
• Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
• Understanding of SQL based database and application-database integration
• In-Depth knowledge on AWS services including VPC, IAM, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, Route53
• Experience designing and building CI/CD pipeline with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Kubernetes toolset (e.g, kubectl, kustomize)
• Experience with Profiling and Tracing tools
• Understanding of Object Oriented skills
• Experience with hosted services in a high-volume enterprise environment
• Knowledge developing/working with Linux Operating Systems
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
