Your Role

This position is responsible for maintenance and support of local IT applications, developed by Infosys, in the client company; interfacing with client IT and business users on day-to-day support such as query response, request fulfillment and issue resolution; identifying application issues proactively and bringing them to resolution; application development and enhancement based on Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; providing estimation for the development effort and reaching agreement with client; working with offshore team for development and maintenance support.

Your Key Responsibilities

· Leading the team consisting of onsite and offshore for local application support and maintenance. Correct any issues in applications to ensure full operation performance. Interact with client business and IT users for queries, request fulfillment and issue resolution. Leverage the ticketing system to resolve user queries / issues within the defined SLA in case of AMS projects. Depending on the nature of the task, take the decision of assigning to offshore and track the progress, or taking up the work item directly at onsite as required.

· Interact with client for new program development and change requests. Understand the requirements both functional and non-functional by going through the specifications and with inputs from business analysts and participate in creating high level estimate as well as translating the same to systems requirements in order to create a systems requirements document and participate effectively in the design, development and testing phases of the project.

· Develop and review artifacts (Code, Documentation, Unit test scripts) conduct reviews for self and peers, conduct unit test and document unit test results for complex programs in order to build the application and make it ready for validation/deliver.

· Actively contribute to a culture of high performance, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

· At least 5 years of experience in Information Technology.

· Japanese (?) citizens and those authorized to work in Japan (?) are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.

· At least 5 years of experience in ASP.Net Core.

· Around 5 years of experience in C# and .Net Framework.

· Experience in Entity Framework Core.

· Experience in developing Microservices

· Experience in Azure Technologies.

· Experience in provisioning Azure Resources (Azure Portal, Azure CLI, PowerShell etc.)

· Knowledge of basics of Azure Architect Technologies, Azure DevOps and Virtual Networking.

· Around 3 + years of experience in SQL server/RDBMS, Data warehouse.

· Japanese proficiency at business level

· English proficiency at business level

· Strong client communication skills

· Experience in onsite - offshore model

Preferred Qualifications

· At least Able to write unit tests using xUnit.

· Course/Certificate on "Azure Developer (AZ-204)".

· Hands-on experience on Core .NET Framework, C#, Web API, Microsoft SQL Server.

· Ability to design and code REST API with NodeJS and Express JS, Angular/React.

· Understanding and experience in designing and implementing PaaS solutions using Azure Technologies (ADF, Azure Function, Azure SQL, etc.)

· Good knowledge in source control (git).

· Experienced in working in agile/devops environment with continuous integration and continuous deployment and application lifecycle management.

· Ability to manage a short team like 3-4 people.

· Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Experience in software development life cycle

· Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

· Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
