Role- Project Manager
Location- Hamburg, Germany

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager you will work with the biggest companies from manufacturing sector in Germany & Europe to develop new IT solutions.

Main activities expected :
 Management of medium to large projects with a front office / back office organization
 Perform the role of a program/portfolio manager for a large service line
 Accountability for control of the Scope / Planning / Costs of the project
 Management of formal & informal customer relationships at the project level (Single Point Of Contact to the customer on project related activities)
 Feedback to the organization on Technology needs, Process innovation and people engagement in order to contribute to productivity improvement for the organization.
 Support to business development: Identify new growth areas & opportunities, and actively work to covert these
 Formulating, organizing and monitoring inter-connected projects
 Decide on suitable strategies and objectives
 Coordinate cross-project activities
 Apply change, risk and resource management
 Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI
 Resolve projects’ higher scope issues

Desired skills and experience:
 Good knowledge of project initiation, execution, and closure activities.
 Knowledge of both development and maintenance/support life cycles, estimation methodologies and quality processes
 Experience to plan, manage and coordinate large programs from initiation to implementation while managing cost, schedule, quality, resources, change request, risk, and issues
 Proven experience in a client facing role, understanding of client expectations and help engagement meet these expectation
 10+ years of experience
 Mentor and guide the team
 Experience in the management of projects with a distributed development team.

Additional Info
 Candidate should be fluent in German and in English.
 Knowledge or Work experience in Aerospace Industry and good understanding of Aerospace Industry and processes will be an added advantage.
 PMP or equivalent certification would be an added advantage

German Language Proficiency required is B2 Minimum
