Short Description:
Work in Finacle Digital Engagement Hub Implementation and Customization and perform code reviews, implement validation and support activities in line with architecture requirements and participate in knowledge management activities WITH the objective of ensuring the highest levels of service offerings to clients in own technology domain WITHIN the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in design and development of features.
  • Determine, analyse and transform business requirements to produce design specifications at the system and programming levels
  • Estimate the effort and timelines for features
  • Perform impact analysis of new features or changes to existing features
  • Should independently develop & deliver scoped features, identify & mitigate technical risks
  • Enhances skills beyond own core functional focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team
  • Coordination in cross-functional team and with other geographically distributed teams
  • Mentor junior team members

Skills /Competencies:
Essential:
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree of engineering in any reputed institution
  • Minimum 10 years of Java/JEE development experience
  • Good understanding of Java concepts and technologies, Web services(REST), Security etc
  • Expertise in any one of the RDBMS
  • Awareness of design principles, design patterns, performance tuning, profiling
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrate good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Exposure to one or more tools: Git, Jira, Jenkins, SonarQube, Maven, Gradle
  • Preferable to have an exposure to Web containers (tomcat/jboss), Docker, Kubernetes & Cloud deployments.




Desirable Skills(Added Advantage)
  • Demonstrates a deep understanding of Finacle domain as well as core IT and technological trends.
  • Exposure to any of the Finacle channels implementation(FEBA) would be added advantage
  • Experience with leading individuals and teams to design, build and deliver various initiatives
  • A proven track record of successfully implementing major initiatives using Agile methodologies
  • JavaScript libraries/frameworks (Polymer, Angular, React), Node JS, Apache Cordova, MongoDB
