Role - Senior Consultant
Position - Infrastructure – ORACLE Database L3
Location - Stuttgart, Germany

Technical skills (Required - Mandatory)

• Oracle Database administration advance level, Linux Administration Basic Level, Scripting (Shell or Pearl)
• MySQL or PostgreSQL or Mongo DB (Expert level experience in at least one of them is mandatory)

• Windows

• English + German

• Should be able to work with colleagues from different cultures and drive L1/L2 colleagues.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced understanding of Database Technology / Architecture
• Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills with a focus on customer service.
• A solid understanding in ITIL processes – Incident, problem, change & release management.
• Should be proficient in scripting
• Excellent Business Communication skills
• Certification in Oracle DB administration
• Knowledge of incident and change management
• Participate in 24x7 production on-call support on rotation basis
• Experienced in writing RFPs solutions and presentations during client visits.

• Installation, upgradation and maintenance of high availability databases.
• Participating new project proposals, devising solutions to critical issues.
• Perform database performance-tuning activities.
• Involving high availability, disaster recovery and performance tuning
• Configure Oracle data guard, ASM and RAC technologies advanced features.
• Install Oracle Multi Node RAC, OEM, Datagurd, RMAN, PDB/CDB and Oracle EXADATA appliance.
• Perform Problem Management (Proactive & Reactive), execute complex change requests and complex projects
• Provide detailed implementation plans and detailed project plans for complex projects /environment migrations, technical documentation, continuous improvement progress reports (Automation Report, Standardization) and knowledge transition plans
• Implement automations for significant reduction in manual efforts, it is essential to have hands-on experience in one of the Automation Platforms like SALTSTACK, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Perform analysis of repeated incidents and come up solutions that help in preventing such incidents
• Create and publish knowledge base articles and contribute to knowledge management activities in the service. Expert
• Writing solutions / estimates for RFPs.
• Contribute and lead improvement drives in order to promote continuous improvement within Services.
