Infosys is seeking a skilled Java Technology Architect
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java application development, object-oriented concepts, and web-based and client-server applications. This role requires proficiency in frameworks such as Spring (MVC) and hibernate as well as experience with both relational and non-relational databases. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Java technologies, cloud computing platforms, and modern architectural principles. With a strong focus on the technical aspects of solution design and implementation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology landscape. Proficiency in data architecture, legacy modernization, and hands-on experience with containerization and messaging systems is essential. Excellent communication skills and a self-driven attitude are required to collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholder

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

• Proficiency in Core Java and J2EE and Springboot technologies.
• Experience with AWS OR Lambda.
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring (MVC) and Hibernate.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Java application development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented concepts, design, analysis, and programming.
• Knowledge of non-relational databases (NoSQL) and relational databases.
• Strong analytical, oral, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team.
• Self-learner with effective time management skills.
• Familiarity with XML technologies and reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide effective solutions.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
