Infosys is seeking a CPG Domain & Data Insights Lead, responsible for ensuring business continuity and driving operational excellence by proactively assessing IT system issues and communicating their potential business impact. This role serves as a critical link between Business and IT Operations teams, ensuring timely identification of potential disruptions and evaluating downstream impacts on essential processes. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the CPG value chain and strong analytical skills to translate technical challenges into actionable business insights.


Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, Richardson/TX or be willing to relocate to the area.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Comprehensive understanding of CPG industry processes & business value chain, including demand planning, inventory management, S&OP, and supply chain operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience to serve as the primary liaison between Business and IT Operations teams to monitor system health and data flows. Can assess and analyze the impact of system failures or delays on key business processes and KPIs (e.g., inventory updates, POS data, demand forecasting, in-store execution, RGM).
  • Experience of designing and maintaining robust impact assessment frameworks for critical applications and data pipelines. Proactively identify risks and communicate potential business impacts to stakeholders with clarity and precision.
  • Experience of developing dashboards and executive reports on system reliability and business impact metrics. Ensure ongoing executive requirements and business continuity priorities are effectively translated into major IT initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of data flows across ERP, POS, inventory, and forecasting systems; ability to interpret data dependencies and downstream impacts. Proven ability to evaluate complex scenarios, quantify business impact, and deliver actionable insights.


The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
