We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance to lead product strategy and delivery for insurance solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong domain expertise in P&C insurance, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience in driving product vision and execution in an Agile environment.

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Experience in P&C insurance domain, with strong understanding of multiple lines of business:
  • Experience in product management or product ownership within insurance or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working as a Product Owner in an Agile environment.
  • Candidates need to be in and around or willing to relocate to any of the locations Hartford, CT, Raleigh, NC, Indianapolis, IN, Richardson, TX and Tempe, AZ.
  • Insurance industry experience is a must, experience supporting insurance Carriers.
  • Strong experience in requirement gathering, analysis and creating detailed business requirements documents.
  • Experience in Agile projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualification:
  • Applied experience with large-scale, complex IT projects in insurance.
  • Familiarity with multiple software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, MS Project, PowerPoint; knowledge of JIRA, Rally, SharePoint is a plus.
  • Database/SQL experience and ability to interpret data for decision-making.
  • Prior experience with reporting and analytics tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlik.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and AI trends in insurance.

The job entails an extensive amount of travel. The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
