Software Developer / System Engineer
Location: Mexico (Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey) – Hybrid as per Infosys Mexico policy

Role Overview
Develop and test new solutions as per the rol of system engineer Backend, Frontend, and Full Stack.
Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and system components.
Analyze technical and functional requirements and propose effective solutions.
Ensure software quality, performance, scalability, and security.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, QA, and cross‑functional IT teams.
Support deployment, integration, and production issues.
Document technical designs, configurations, and development standards.
Follow engineering best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and business logic.
Ensure system performance, scalability, availability, and data integrity.
Integrate applications with databases, external systems, and third‑party services.
Participate in system design and architecture discussions..

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Statistics, Computer Science.
• At least 2+ years of experience in Information Technology working with the role of developer.
• Bilingual (Spanish & English) – strong verbal and written communication.
• Programming languages: Java, C#, Python, Node.js, or similar.
• RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-oriented architectures.
• Relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle, etc.).
• Knowledge of operating systems (Linux/Windows) and basic networking.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines

• Minimum 3 years of hands on experience working with .
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Clear and effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Excellent planning, prioritization, and problem‑solving abilities.

• Agile / Scrum / DevOps environments.
• Development and tracking tools: Jira, Confluence, IDEs.
• Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) – desirable.
