Infosys is seeking a Technical Manager. In the role, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle in Java and Angular. You will also be expected to build high-throughput, fault tolerant systems with requirements including elicitation, application architecture, definition and design. You will play an important role in creating high-level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, ON or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of hands-on experience in Java/Microservices Development.
• Experience in hands-on software development using Java, SpringBoot and Angular in development projects, experience in developing complex code problems and involved in day to day coding activities.
• Experience as a Technical Manager in leading and mentoring Full Stack development teams and projects.
• Experience in hands-on software development using Java, SpringBoot and Angular in development projects, experience in developing complex code problems and involved in day to day coding activities.
• Hands on Experience in Java 14, REST APIs, Springboot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments, Spring Security, JPA, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, MVC, Junit, test framework, various design patterns is must.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Angular 11 & above.
• Hands on experience in SQL Server or Oracle or Mongo DB is desired.
• Work experience in front-end languages and libraries like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, typescript, Jasmine Karma, Mockito is required.
• Experience in Jenkins, IBM UrbanCode deploy, Tekton, Harness or related build and deployment tools is required.
• Exposure to cloud orchestration technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat Openshift ECS platform is required.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP and DevOps tools and practices.
• Experience in SDLC - on development and maintenance projects.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Good Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A high degree of initiative and flexibility. High customer orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Ability to lead complex IT projects end‑to‑end, including planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and ensuring on‑time, high‑quality delivery. Must understand software development lifecycles (Agile/Scrum/DevOps) and guide technical teams effectively.
• Solid understanding of enterprise IT systems, cloud platforms, integration technologies, APIs, and modern engineering practices. Should be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate closely with architects and engineering teams.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario: $ 99,431 to $ 147,836
