Role: Technology Architect- Data & Analytics
Location:
Tokyo

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate client and provide thought leaderships in data analytics and data engineering

  • Understand the requirements both functional and non-functional to define the holistic data management system architecture

  • Demonstrate compelling business values to the client with the data architecture/solution aligning to the business scenarios

  • Collaborate with the internal stakeholders and outline data management standards, guidelines, governing principles, and policies aligning to the client requirements

  • Identify use cases, document process flows, data flows, outline data management approach and define data models

  • Specify data compliance, regulations and access methods aligning to the requirements

  • Data reference architecture and framework creation

  • Pre-sales activities, proposal creation, solution design and project delivery

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

  • At least 15 of experience in Information Technology

  • A bilingual resource

  • Japan citizens and those authorized to work in Japan are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time

  • At least 10 years of experience in Data analytics architecture and solutioning

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of experience in Data analytics architecture, Advanced analytics, Data engineering and Data governance areas

  • Ability to manage large data analytics programs, data design solution and delivery

  • Experience in tools like Microsoft Fabric, Informatica, Collibra, Talend etc.

  • Experience in hyper scalers like AWS. Azure or GCP

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in leading teams and managing client expectations

  • Experience in software development life cycle. Agile methodology preferred

  • Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

  • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
